International Symposium on Geoinformatics

November 24th and 25th, 2017

Batu, Indonesia

International Symposium on Geoinformatics emphasizes the confluence of two rapidly advancing domains: Computer Science and Geographic Information Science; nowadays, Earth studies using more and more sophisticated computing theory and tools, and computer processing of Earth observations through Geographic Information System (GIS) attracts a great deal of attention from governmental, industrial and research worlds.

This symposium aims to promote the most innovative results coming from the research in the field of computer science applied to geographic information systems. Thus, International Symposium on Geoinformatics (ISYG) provides an effective forum for disseminating original and fundamental research and experience in the rapidly advancing area of the use of computer science for spatial studies.

ISYG 2017 has been approved by IEEE for Technical co-sponsorship with conference record number #41145. The papers accepted and presented will be forwarding for consideration to be published in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library, which is usually be indexed by scopus. Non-presented papers will be pulled from submission to IEEE Xplore.

All articles get a Digital Object Identifier (DOI)

The main theme of this year ISyG is Achieving Sustainability through Digital Earth. Through these theme we will gain and combine any great ideas to drive activities that make everything on the earth be in balance. The activity include how to gain the data and information, proccess them, and take actions from them.

To support that main theme, these are some subthemes that may be related (not only):
